Rebranding and Growing a Life-Balance Counseling Platform

The client wanted to rebrand her astrology-psychology counseling practice and expand her reach with a bilingual Ukrainian and English website. The goal was to elevate her online presence and better reflect her expertise for a global audience.

before designing a single page.

To build a site that could actually sell this service, we needed to understand it firsthand. The depth and accuracy of the experience made the messaging clear. This isn't vague content. It's a precise, personalized practice that helps people understand themselves. That insight shaped every word on the site.

The original brand used yellow and black. colors that read as bold but not warm and intuitive. After deep collaboration with Mariia, we replaced them with soft purples and pinks, built around her love of flowers and the vibrant, uplifting energy she brings to her work. The final logo and mood board reflected who she actually is.

Mariia serves clients in Ukraine, the UK, and beyond. The website had to work in two languages, take payments in euros and U.S. dollars, and explain a nuanced service clearly enough that a total stranger would book a consultation within minutes of arriving. Every structural and design decision flowed from those requirements.

Bilingual structure in English and Ukrainian

Full parallel site in both languages, each with its own navigation. English: Home, Reviews, My Journey, Experience, Services, and four dedicated consultation pages. Ukrainian: exact equivalents. A dropdown menu handled language switching. SEO implications were discussed upfront. We agreed to review performance at six to eight months and adapt based on data.

Custom intake forms for each service type

Every consultation type had its intake form collecting the birth data, questions, and context needed before the session. Clients arrived prepared, and Mariia arrived informed. Fewer back-and-forth messages, better consultations.

PayPal payments in euros and U.S. dollars

Dual-currency payment built in from launch removing the friction that stops international clients from completing a booking. No workarounds, no manual invoicing.

Page structure built around how clients actually search

Key terms such as natal chart, life balance, and astrological psychology were woven into the site architecture as primary pages, not footnotes. Each one is both a service explanation and an SEO asset. The natal chart page alone targets one of the highest-volume search terms in the space.

AFTER LAUNCH

Instagram drove immediate traffic and early form submissions. One month in, we connected Instagram directly to the site, improving click-through rates and routing users toward a more personal messaging experience rather than cold booking.

At six months

At six months, English-speaking followers had grown significantly, but conversion data showed the bilingual structure was creating duplicate content issues that were suppressing SEO performance. Rather than defend the original decision, we made the call to streamline: removed the Ukrainian pages, focused the site on English content, and let the organic growth speak to an international audience through a single, stronger platform.

From magenta and pink to lavender and green

The new palette draws directly from Mariia's love of flowers. Especially lavender and soft sage greens. Where the previous era used saturated pinks to convey energy and vibrancy, the new brand communicates stillness, trust, and natural beauty. The shift in color is a shift in positioning: from 'vibrant practitioner' to 'life-balance guide.'

Simplicity as a conversion strategy

The previous site had grown organically over four years useful features added one by one. By the second redesign, the architecture needed a reset. A more simplified, user-friendly structure removed friction from every step of the booking journey. Less noise, clearer calls to action, faster paths to inquiry.

Mobile optimization: 67 → 97

The second redesign brought mobile performance from a 67 to a 97, a dramatic improvement for users arriving from Instagram and mobile search. Desktop performance reached 99. These aren't vanity numbers: faster load times reduce bounce, improve time-on-site, and directly support conversion.
